Don King Memorial Saddle
This saddle was made as a tribute to Don King. It won Reserve Champion at the Don King Memorial Saddle Contest in Sheridan WY. This saddle received Best of Show at the Old West Museum Art show in Cheyenne WY. The saddle was Chamlionship Winner at The Cowboy Makers Show in Loveland CO
It is on a 15 1/2" Tim Benard Tree, 12" front, 4" cantle,
3 1/2" horn, 3" cap. It has a full double dee ring rigging
Square skirts, 2" cheyenne roll, 4" covered stirrups.
The saddle is full floral Sheridan Style carved including
gullet cover, inside of fenders, inside stirrup covers.
The carving depicts the transition of the Sheridan Style Carving.
